The Most Important Tool of Weight Loss.

In my humble opinion, the most important thing you can do to lose weight is to consistently measure your results. I like to jump on the scale every morning, to start my day. Some other people prefer to step on it once a week.
But wait, there’s more!

Loving the Bike

As you may know I have recently taken up cycling. I love it. It’s a lot fun and I don’t think I will be giving it up any time soon. It is low impact and great for your legs. You can power up and cycle as fast as you can or coast along at a leisurely pace, or both! However at my fitness level I can assure you that my pace is leisurely no matter how hard I pedal.

Getting Back At It.

I have been dealing with a bit of stress lately and not been keeping up all the great habits that have been helping me. I am trying to exercise more than I have been in the past few months. It has been really hard to get back on track Continue reading “Getting Back At It.”

C25K Challenge Day 9

I’m off to China! I will be spending 6 weeks in China visiting friends, trying new teas and exotic foods.

For the first time ever I used a hotel exercise room. This gym had two treadmills, and some other equipment that I didn’t bother with. I chose to repeat the last run I did but it felt good anyway.

C25K Challenge Day 6

Today’s run was great. I’m a quarter of the way done the program and I don’t think I’m going to give up. It got me sweating a lot. It was a good stress relief and really felt great. I slept in and missed breakfast, however lunch was great. I had eggs and bacon. For an afternoon snack I had some popcorn and watched some Netflix. I had a delicious sweet potato paleo nachos for supper.

I also lifted weights and finally lifted 200 lbs.
